which trainer could have gotten the most out of which fighter?

    Steward with Cotto for the Margarito fight would have made a huge difference. Cotto was over-trained for a start, but his gameplan was non-existent as soon as he got tired and Margo started landing.

    Nazeem Richardson and Juan Manuel Marquez for me would be a great combo. I'm not saying Nacho hasn't done a brilliant job though :yep

    Ron Lipton was up for Hatton consideration, they should have hired him over Mayweather, thats for sure!

    nazim richardson was on ontheropes radio show about a month or so ago...

    he said he thinks enzo calzaghe is a genius, he says that most american trainers such as steward, roach etc would not have let joe calzaghe get away without turning over his punches and putting weight behind it, but enzo calzaghe knew his sons weaknesses and adjusted his punch technique.

    That's a back handed compliment if I've ever heard one.
    Act like he's been complimentiary when really he's saying Enzo didn't teach him how to punch like a proper American trainer and that Joe wasn't capable of doing it!!
