I'd dispute this one. Hagler fought like a toothless well past his sell-by date fighter vs Leonard, and it was still a razor-thin type of fight.

The only thing impressive about Leonard vs Hagler was the paper circumstances IMO.

Much better examples for the incredible SRL would be:

    Duran-Leonard 1
    Duran-Leonard 2

    or (even better IMO):

    Benitez-Cervantes
    Leonard-Benitez :good

I'd say the same about this as I did about Hagler-Leonard.

    How about this:

    Corrales-Manfredy
    Mayweather-Corrales

Fair enough but Leonard had no business putting in that kind of performance vs a Hagler that had not lost for 11 yrs & BADLY wanted to beat Leonard.

True. Very true. But this is what I mean by 'paper circumstances'. It was patently obvious the Hagler of '87 was a far cry from the Hagler of, say, '83. Same with Mosley ('00-'10). Leonard did beat prime Benitez who fought back valiantly to the best of his ability.

    Here's mine - a trebler...

Pacquiao vs Marquez II (114-114 IMO)
    Mayweather vs Marquez (near shut-out)
Pacquiao vs Mayweather (sensational win for Manny P)

    :D

Not that I've ever believed nor believe now that Floyd will ever find his urge to the extent that he'll get in the ring with a fighter like Pacquiao. A leopard never changes its spots IMHO.
