what steaks are appropriate and are healthier for a boxer's diet? The only meat I consume is chicken breasts and tuna and I want to add in some steak.

    Heh, Nutrition nutrition!

I know I will catch **** for this, but Turkey breast craps all over any form of chicken. Less fat, better amino acid profile, has selenium.. Chicken doesn't stand a chance.

A very good, but very expensive beef will be of the grass fed variety.. Which boasts the same omega 3 profile as salmon!! Have this once or twice a week.

Another very good version of beef, is bison. Tends to also be expensive, and lower in fat than beef by a wide margin.

There's nothing wrong with eating steaks once or even twice a week. One of my favorite meals is a steak thrown on the grill with a baked potato, salad, and a glass of milk on the side. It's better for your body to switch up its nutrients than to adapt and expect the same old **** every day. You obviously still want to keep the healthy proteins like eggs, turkey, fish, chicken, etc in your diet though. The bottom line is that if the vast majority of your diet is clean, you will reap the benefits. It doesn't have to be perfect.

    i agree
a lil variety wont harm you especially since its confirmed (thanks jeffradka) that top sirloin steaks have the best protein to fat ratio.

No problem, its the leanest cut of beef you can get, something like 40g of protein per serving. Not to mention Top Sirloins are easy on the wallet, you can usually get two decent sized steaks for five or six bucks.
