The yanks want all our fighters ko`d as this thread proves because they don`t dominate the sport anymore. It won`t happen but,if somehow our Jennings beats Cotto that would really **** them off Jennings being a UK fighter but I`d say Hatton has more chance of knocking Pacquiao out.

You're just mad because the list is full of hype jobs and they will all either be retired or destroyed very soon!

Won't be an opinion if it happens will it?
    Not really biased either.
    Floyd already ruined Hatton.
Carl Fraud will be exposed badly first time he fights a world class fighter.
Calzaghe is least to be KO'd but could retire soon. He's by far the best fighter on the list.
David Hype and A Mere Con have glass jaws waiting to be shattered.

Funny that, bearing in mind that each one of Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, Clinton Woods, David Haye, Junior Witter, Carl Thompson and Carl Froch (to give a few examples) have left their homeland to fight more times than Roy Jones, ODLH, Mayweather, Shane Mosley, Pavlik and Taylor combined! I take it all of those guys "hid" as well then? Or are we applying the usual double standards here?

Hmm.....you're a bit thick as Carl Fraud would say. Our boxers don't have to leave. This is where the best competition is. Europe is like the minor leagues most of the time compared to the states.

    Most of the time maybe.

Shall we devalue all the american middleweights of the 90s who didnt fight in europe? Plenty of big fights they ducked then wasnt there.

Hmmm... methinks YOU'RE a bit thick! You see the great thing about the sport of boxing is that, unlike in other sports such as football where all the best teams are affiliated to a national league which they play in (primarily England, Spain or Italy) and basketball/gridiron where only one country plays it and calls it a world league, boxers are not bound by jurisdiction. Whilst more of the best fighters base themselves in the US than anywhere else, primarily due to all of the South Americans who fight there for economic reasons, all of them are at perfect liberty to travel anywhere in the world for a fight.

Any fighter is going to fight in his home country unless there is a persuasive reason why not (i.e. money or a big opportunity). That's just logical. Nonetheless, all of those guys mentioned have proved that they will "go and get it" for a big enough fight. I.E should there be enough money there or a big career-defining fight, they will get their passport out. That isn't "hiding". As opposed to clowns like Jermain Taylor who seems to think that because he's American he has the right to have every bout on home turf, has twice turned down title shots or final eliminators because he might have to travel and as a result is probably going to fade into irrelevance in a string of "who cares" matchups with the likes of Lacy and Green!
