Junior would get absolutely destroyed by Canelo and it would not even be remotely close. He would walk straight through Junior and land power shots at will. It will be the kind of fight where you are wincing at the screen thinking the referee or corner need to step in. Saunders gives him the most trouble if he is switched on and focused, he is the best boxer on the list. Canelo can and has been beaten and it is the intelligent boxer movers that have given him the most trouble, Mayweather, Lara, Golovkin even Kovalev and Khan before they got flattened, fighters who have a rich history and culture in the sport and have been around for multiple decades amateur and pro. Eubank Junior does into fit into this category, it will be a shut out where he looses every round and it will look much worse than Callum Smith did last night.

The only one who could compete is BJS if he turns up in shape. However he still gets dominated late on as he wouldn't put a dent in Canelo.

    Eubank and Ryder get massacred.

I think they all lose handily. However, being genuine, I think Jnr has the best chance. He has a good chin, fast hands and is willing to trade. I think he would be non stop, make Canelo work and wouldn't give him a minute.

That said, Canelo would eventually find the shots to win within the distance.

Saunders but they all lose easily.

WTF is it with people voting Eubank?? He would get smashed to bits.

I have no idea, it seems the less he fights the higher his stock goes.

I don’t know why people are mentioning Eubank Jr. He’ll get countered all night long and made to look an absolute fool.

You would think Buatsi if he moved up, probably. The Ryder fight would be interesting to an extent. Big skills gap for sure but Ryder puts his punches together nicely and a southpaw who can fight on the inside can usually be a pain.

A fully focused, fit and with a full couple of camps back to back BJS at 160lb would have the best chance. Out of the MWs
At lhw I reckon beterbiev would beat him but onky if he punched with him, he'd have to throw all other gameplans out of the window imo. Draw counters and punch with him, Beterbievs size and power should overcome Canelos wilyness.

Technically, Canelo is many many levels above Junior. Added to that, Junior does not work for 3 minutes of every round, he takes time off like his old man posturing nonchalantly but the reality is he’s taking big gulps of air in. Meanwhile, Canelo makes his opponents work for the full 3 minutes, walking them down, feinting, jabbing and inducing panic. Junior would get stopped no matter how good is chin is.

Saunders has great footwork but I noticed his feet betrayed him against Murray and the 2 fights before. He wasn’t stepping back out of range quick enough. He also doesn’t have the pop to make Canelo cautious about coming into range. This version of Saunders gets outboxed and stopped.

Ryder would get stopped quickly. I don’t think any of our light heavies could beat him. Canelo’s chin is granite...I can’t see any weaknesses only natural deterioration. The improvements are unbelievable. Yes, he’s arguably been beaten a few times but he’s improved hugely since then.
