Which UK fighters could potentially be the Real Deal when they step up

Fury has the potential, but what about the likes of Luke Campbell? Yafai? Eggington?? Would you include these too??

 

really like the look of liam williams tbh, he looks solid at the weight and i would love to see him actually get in the ring with liam smith because i fancy him to beat beefy.

also really like mitchell smith but at featherweight imo, he just doesnt look like a super feather but at 22 he could still grow into the weight.

bradley saunders will be fun for however long he lasts, loves a tear up and can hurt anyone who will stand in front of him!!

dont get the hype with hughie fury and imo he will struggle above domestic level.

think martin j ward will struggle when he steps up

havent seen enough of cacace or ryan burnet to make judgement on.

 

I think people underestimate Eggington, not the best technically by any means but then again neither was Carl Froch and he did ok!! He looks like he has the chin and the guts/determination that will get him places to me!! Could well be wrong but it is my opinion he will go far!!

 

And still only 21!! Lol, I see you do not share my opinion of him, but useless seems a bit extreme!!

 

you think he will struggle past euro level but label him as useless? he is looking very comfortable at british level and i would pick him to beat frankie gavin right now. im sure if you was to give most fighters when they started out if they thought winning at euro level but failing to get above they would be pretty happy!

I still think there is a lot too come from Liam Smith. Though time is fast running out for him.

Jack Catterall seems to be impressing every time he's out, was out sparring for the May-Pac fight, that doesn't happen by accident.

Sam Eggington is only 21 but so far has cleared up domestically, matched correctly I wouldn't be surprised to see him fighting for the Euro belt before long... Let's say, his power is something else at the minute, and he's not even gained his "man strength" yet... I've higher hopes for him than any other under 25 year old boxer that springs to mind.

I don't see the Liam Smith thing. He doesn't do anything particularly that well and I don't see him having the skills to compete at world level. I think Liam Williams would beat him if they fought now.

I agree with Catterall and Eggington though. Both young, powerful and exciting fighters.
