Which UK Heavyweight will go the furthest?

Can not see any of the other doing ok above British level apart from Chisora who is only able of becoming another Danny Williams.

 

I've got Chisora going furthest, maybe to European level but no further than that. I hope i'm wrong though and Fury or Dallas go further!

 

Too hard to tell at this stage for me. You just can't tell when any of them will reach their peak and which wont be able to get past british level?

Right now I'll say Price, Dallas and Fury will reach European level.... if I had to guess.

 

To be honest all should get near British level but only for the fact that they are all British and this is the sum of fighters that we will have over the next few years.

 

i think price is a decent prospect, seen him box for england a few times and seemed pretty skilled. i see he keeps getting jibes about his chin! has he ever been ko'd ?

 

I like Sam Sexton but i feel his stamina issues will stop him going further. He got decent ability and shown he got heart but he must improve his conditioning espicially prior to facing Chisora in rematch. Chisora i think has the ability to go quite far, he seems educated type fighter but i worry about his mentality when things aren't going well.

Fury is 21 and already shown a lot. Got good names on the record. Has ability and also ok power which can be improved imo. He's in same boat as Sexton but his chin seems far better equipped and i think he can go as far as he wants in the game i really do think he has something to work with.

Price....shocked he got so many votes to be honest. Seems a nice guy but i seen more aggression from him when commenting on Fury then in his so called fights. I haven't been impressed with him in general. From his jab to his defence...to his finishing..not the greatest and he will have to improve this when he steps up to fighting 18 stone 6 foot plus heavyweights.

 

I can not see Fury going too far but he certainly could do with alot of fights and decent opposition...maybe turning into one of those 49-2 fighters before he steps upto any genuine class. He aint getting the training so let him learn in the ring.

Chisora and Fury I think could go a long way.

So far Chisora looks fast and powerful, he can put combos together well and I think he has a really good jab. I like his ring movement; footwork, head movement and how he throws his punches. I can't wait to see him step up, I think he's going to be knocking alot of fighters out for a while yet. Once he can't stop them with pure punching power he has the hand speed and so far has showed good technical boxing ability and LOOKs in great condition. So can out box fighters and win on points if needed. I wonder if he'll put weight on because he comes in light, however he still looks strong.

So Fury as we all know has brilliant physical attributes, height, reach, hand speed and chin seems good. Also very confidant, almost boderline arrogance which every fighter needs to have I believe. His bodyshots impressed me against McDermott II and hopefully we can see more of that in his next fight. Tyson's also young so he's going to get better and after already beating some credible fighters in his 11 fights so far he has massive potential, which we all knew anyway. Two things Fury needs to sort out though is his conditioning and trainer. Getting a knew trainer would most likely sort out his conditioning anyway. But for sake of improvment he needs to get some one with experience and knowledge. I still have major questions about Furys heart and desire though.

So I think both will get to European level at LEAST. If they fight soon which Chisora wants I'd go for Chisora late stoppage. However a loss could be good for Fury, hopefully making him realise he needs to step his game up, he'd have alot of time too.

 

on his amatuer pedigree, he needs better tests in his pro career and i bet he would agree with that. but anyone who can get an olympic bronze at super heavy can't be a total waste of space can he ???

chisora isnt helped by being a **** so people kinda have a scewed view of him
