Which UK Heavyweight will go the furthest?

I voted Price. Still think he will show much more when he is stepped up...eventually. Although he is normally stuck in safety first, he's well schooled - uses his height to his advantage, has a good jab, knows his distances, has a decent defence, good power, is in shape etc.

On Youtube there is a 2 round clip of him sparring Dallas, and he handled him very well from the footage that was shown - and although it was only sparring, it showed more about Price than any of his pro fights so far IMO. I feel that Price is a level above most of the prospects and is alongside Chisora and Fury as the best we have.

 

If Fury sorts out his conditioning and stamina I think he can eventually prove himself the best from this crop. I think he could be a pretty decent European-level fighter, he has a good chin! That counts for something in this day and age.

If he sorts out a proper trainer, who knows?

 

I voted del boy on this 1. He has looked good lately (I no danny Williams wasn't the same fighter but Chisora was good enough to put him away early) and I see him beating sexton quiet comfortably.

Tyson fury worries me. I think he came in too heavy against John MacD and I see him struggling if he carries on putting the pounds on. I do however think he has all the right attributes to become a big success.

I would also put a mention on David price. While he has looked a bit too cautious as of late, I think he has the physical attributes to step up a few gears.

 

I voted for price, although I am still unsure with my selection but going on amateur success and also weakness of this division I picked him.

 

In theory, based on skills, Price should go further, however if his chin is as a shaky as Fury seems to think it is, then he might not go as far as he should, imo Chisora is clearly the second best HW prospect in Britain after Price, although his personality leaves a bit to be desired.

After that its between Fury and Sexton, then Tom Dallas, Larry Olubamiwo, as big as he is, cant fight a lick imo, he does not even look like he could street fight, seems like a big guy that has never had to fight because of his size, therefore, is not very good at it.

Never seen Towers fight.
