the win over Holyman meant more, he was a better fighter. but the win over Vits meant a lot too, because Lewis was retiring yet still ripped apart the prime guy who was ruling the roost for the next decade.
They are indeed Lewis' best wins. I think the Vitali win got a whole lot better as years past. It probably could still get better in the next couple of decades. :deal
The win over Vitali meant more. Holy was close to a decade past his best when Lewis edged him out. With Vitali doing much, much more after the defeat clearly that is the best win. What did Holy do after the Lewis defeat? Basically nothing.
Holy by a mile. Vit was so lucky that LL came in so unprepared and not ring-fit. For Holy, Lewis was 100%, for Vit 80%.
Maybe, look at what LL did to Rahman when he got properly prepped. Same as what would have happened to Vit. KTFO.
The Holyfield win was more significant. He dominated the supposed best heavyweight in the world and became undisputed champion, that did more for his career and legacy than any other fight. The Vitali win improved over time as Vitali established his own legacy, but Vitali doesn't rank as high as Evander and Lewis performance was less impressive against Vitali.
