I thought no one looked more embarrassing than Tyson did against Lewis in 2002 when he was completely shot. But i have to admit David Haye is now very close given how badly he got dropped 3 times against a guy who was not even a natural heavyweight. Atleast Tyson as shot to **** as he was in 2002 had the Balance, Legs, Cordination to stay upright for almost 9 whole rounds against one of the hardest hitting heavyweights in history.
I'd say they are equal. Both were beyond shot and shouldn't have been fighting any longer, but were there for a desperate cash grab. Bellew was pulling his punches in the first round, but eventually picked up the pace and got Haye out of there. Lewis also was taking it easy on Tyson in the early rounds as a show of mercy until Stewart lost it and started screaming at Lewis to pick it up and Lewis preceded to give Tyson a brutal beating.
Don't think Lewis was taking it easy on Tyson at all, i saw plenty of upper cuts and right hands from Lewis throughout the fight. You don't see Lewis praise an opponents chin after the fight very often
At least Tyson lasted 8 against great SHW Lennox Lewis. Haye couldn't last 5 against former victim of Adonis Stevenson and Nathan Cleverly. Shot Tyson vs shot Haye - KO1 for Iron Mike.
Lol...how embarrassing of a post. Shot to bits Tyson went through 8 punishing rds from a big punching reigning super heavyweight before going down. Haye couldn't go 3 with a former light heavy before being sat on his ass. Hopefully this puts a stop to all the rubbish Tyson vs Haye H to H threads
