Pac and Mayweather are both coming off of really good wins, arguably their best in years. Which was better? :think
Slight edge to Pac over Bradley. However if Mayweather had won at 154 rather than 152 it'd be about even.
Bradley. The only thing Canelo had over Bradley was size. I still think a 150ish guy beating a 152 Bradley is of more value than beating a 165 Alvarez. 13 lbs isn't quite big enough of a difference in weight to make Canelo the more dangerous opponent. Also: 152 is Bradley's general fighting weight. Canelo was 172 in his previous fight against Trout if I'm not mistaken, so at 165 he was somewhat drained.
Canelo was on a catchweight.:nut That nullifies whatever belt at LMW that he was holding according to ***** logic. So essentially, FMJ fought a drained Canelo in an imaginary division and for a non-title fight. Compare that to the undefeated, prime and "young and hungry" WBO WW belt holder who was coming off an impressive string of victories at WW: Pacquiao, Provod, JMM, and was ranked #3 to #5 in P4P and WW rankings, then the winner is pretty clear. See how stupid you *****s sound?:hi: Pac is still the winner here (for obvious reasons), but of course the FMJ-Canelo bout was nothing to scoff at either. It was step towards the right direction for FMJ, if only the catchweight wasn't in place I would've put the edge on FMJ for this one.
Of course they will. Because then they would have to admit that: 1. Pacquiao's win over Cotto is indeed sensational and a legit WW belt for Pac 2. Pacquiao is an 8-division world champion (from defeating Margarito, as if FMJ is even close to being a 7-division world champ). 3. FMJ is such a ***** for stipulating a 144lb catchweight against JMM and if that is not bitchy enough, would go ahead and not honor the catchweight instead of going down to 140 at least (remember JMM was still a 135lb-er at this time). No catchweights remember? Fight fighters "at their best" only. *cough* *dragged Hatton up at 147* *cough* So yeah, they'd have to vote for Bradley.
I really like Bradley but Pac had already beat him, just got robbed. its Canelo. and really its about how Mayweather won too. to dominate a guy 10-2 11-1, in his prime, only Mayweathers 3rd fight in that weight class and actually looked a little vulnerable the last time he was there against Cotto, the fight everybody wanted, to me its a bigger win. The Casuals and most of the general public thinks it is also. Now im not saying Pac's win over Bradley was crap because it wasnt and that would be a hater commenet. I just think beating Canelo says alot more espcially since Pac had already beat Bradley. Also Pacquiao won but didnt look to good, Mayweather won and looked amazing as always so that has something to do with it also. If your gonna say who's more proven then obviously Bradley wins but thats not the question. it's whats the better win. I would say Canelo, both good wins though, real talk. Good job for both fighters
Bradley ofc man, look at Bradley's resume Alvarez is a good fighter but no way FMJ's win over him is bigger than Pac's win
This is like asking the question...whose chin stood up better: Floyd against Shane or Pac against Marquez fight 4
