Which was the better win: Hagler-Hearns or Calzaghe-Kessler?

    Calzaghe was a great fighter and his victory over a prime Kessler was very impressive due to Kessler being a class fighter in his day.But past prime Hagler destroyed a true ATG in Tommy who had looked more impressive against recent common opponents in Duran and Roldan.This poll is a no-brainer.

    Hearns accomplushed quite a bit after the Haglar fight, & @ higher classes than middleweight. Trinidad accomplished pretty much nothing after the Hopkins fight. Hagler beating Hearns > Hopkins beating Trinidad. Since losing to Calz., Kessler has accomplished more than Trinidad did post Hopkins. Kessler is a world champ after defeating Froch, but has accomplished less than Hearns did post Haglar. Hagler beating Hearns > Calz. beating Kessler > Hopkins beating Trinidad.

    Hagler-Hearns BY FAR. Not even close. The kessler win was good for Calzaghe but Hearns is an actual ATG and Hagler absolutely smoked him

    I sense an agenda against Calzaghe lol. Hagler-Hearns and that's the only reasonable choice.

    If you're talking about overall careers: Hagler-Hearns>Hopkins-Trinidad>Calzaghe-Kessler. Trinidad beat better names than Kessler did(really at ww) but his last "great" win was Vargas at 154(not 160, sorry Hopkins). If you're talking about wins over opponents who afterwards got more success: Hagler-Hearns>Calzaghe-Kessler>Hopkins-Trinidad. As we know, Hearns achieved more success at lt hvy beating Hill and Kessler beat Froch in a close fight that could've gone either way(I scored it for Froch). Trinidad hasn't had a really meaningful win since losing to Hopkins(Beating Mayorga was good but it didn't top other wins such as Vargas, DLH, Whitaker, etc.).

    ARE YOU SERIUOUS!!......Dont ever compare calzaghe or kesseler to hearns,hagler....compare calzaghe are good fighters NOT GREAT or did they ever do anything to be spoken of in the same way they speak of TRUE ATG'.....you guys are so proud of lil joe'....fighting c & b level fighters...then he seen how tuff it was when stepped up and retired to hide from the enevitible

    Hearns wasn't some tiny guy who didn't belong at MW, he had a couple of previous fights at MW, stretched a contender in one round in his next fight at MW, and won titles at MW and above.

    Hagler-Hearns is also perhaps the greatest display of a fighter changing from his usual style to comprehensively beat another great fighter.
