He was rocked in the 12th yet still wasn't dropped, I honestly didn't think he will be able to drop him. I picked Morales to win the first fight by UD and in the rematch I was leaning towards Pacquiao but by decision though my final pick few days before the fight was Morales by SD and he ended up TKO'd. I honestly never expected to see that even after Morales/Raheemd where Morales was rocked in the 5th and lost a one-sided UD. Even in the third fight, believe it or not, I didn't expect Pac to stop him yet Pac goes out there and gets it done as early as the third.

Morales is just an all-time favorite of mine who I rate very high, even if he fought a big puncher today I won't pick him to lose by KO even though he might. Just one of those moments where you know you are living in denial and can't help it.

Yeah I hear ya. I wasn't too pissed about the 2nd fight because to me, I was certain that Morales would retire right then and there and just pack it up. I knew Pac would simply walk through him at that point because the entire 12th round, Morales got HAMMERED. Not wobbled, not shook up, not hurt but hammered. I honestly think the only reason he didn't go down was because his pride was holding him up to see the end of the fight.

The 2nd one was brutal of course but I kind of figured it would happen.

The 3rd was the worst...because Pac just slaughtered him for 3 brutal rounds. It wasn't a passing of the torch as much as it was Pac simply grabbing the torch and beating the **** out of Morales with it.

If anything a more shocking KO was Barrera getting slaughtered by Pac. That one I didn't see coming at all.

For me, Tarver Ko'ing Jones in round 2 was the most shocking b/c Jones was seen as nearly untouchable.

Cotto getting KOd by Margo. This was shocking for my brother and myself. We couldnt believe it. We were walking around saying "what the ****" "I can't ****ing believe it" "How the **** could this happen? Cotto is part machine"
It took roughly a week to recover. Even smoking a ton of good ganja didnt help this one

For me it's Jones vs. Tarver 2. I was like six for the Tyson Douglas fight. I can see why it was the biggest shock of all to those who saw it, but I had the "knew it was coming" effect so I never really was shocked by it, so to speak.

I don't know if either of these KO's were shocks to me, to be honest. After Tarver Jones I'm having a hard time of thinking of a number two though. Briggs KO'ing Lyahkovich with one second left after doing virtually nothing the entire fight was pretty shocking/exciting...for the 10 seconds it took to KO him.
