I think that Ali vs Frazier 1 was the most significant fight of the trilogy. Both men were undefeated at the time and both were under 30. Both men were damaged goods for 2 and 3 because Foreman had demolished Frazier and Norton beat Ali, breaking his jaw along the way.

    The correct answer is FOTC.

From a sociohistorical perspective the first fight was the most significant. From an entertainment perspective the Manila fight was most significant.

Wlad would have battered both of them on the same night

I don't disagree Wlad can beat a post exile Ali but he wouldn't have battered him, it would have been a very competitive fight. Frazier ate shots leading in with his face, Wlad would have given him a terrible beating.

Chris Bryd was a very good fighter but not as good as Ali.

Anyone who thinks Frazier simply ate shots leading in with his face has his head up his his, or more likely Foremans jab up his ass...

How many big power punchers did Frazier beat? Yeh that's right ZERO. He was a human punching bag, very easy to hit. That's why he retired at 31. Wlad would have killed him.
