2 fighters that unexpectedly decided to pull a No Mas in round 6. Which did you think looked worse in your view?

NObeisy MASzirez was winning and he quit when the going got tough. That was a little cherry on his eye, Vargas and Morales both fought with one eye against KO punchers and never quit. This was shades of Roberto Duran and Oliver McCall.

Rigo was 40 and moved up 2 weight classes. It was silly of him to take that fight all.

Robeisy Ramirez is a two time Olympic gold medalist, and it´s crazy how badly he has struggled as a pro. Top Rank have done everything they could, for him to succeed, and he still failed.
But Ramirez is talented and still just 30 years of age. There is some hope for him.

Dominant Cuban amateurs that have underwhelming pro careers is nothing new in boxing. Last night is going to be very damaging to Ramirez's career. I'm sure Top Rank is more than disappointed after investing so much into him and the promotion of this fight in particular.

He apparently broke his orbital. Same thing as Dubois.

Seems like it, and it´s understandable to stop fighting. I imagine it´s a different kind of pain that most never feel, thus it could be a shock. People will be quick to bring up guys like Inoue, who fought through such injuries, but for every Inoue we have a; Dubois, Saunders, and now Ramirez.

Rigo on the other hand quit simply due to frustration.

Ramirez is really disappointing. At least Rigo became a champion. Ramirez lost right out of the gate due to his laziness and will probably never get a title. He doesn't have heart or dedication.

He already had a title and there's no shame in losing to a 6'1, 144 pound featherweight.

It's the double vision that's more disorienting than the pain.

You're right. He won a vacant title and held it so briefly that I forgot about it.

I like Rigo, but he faked a hand injury and couldn’t agree on which hand was injured, but he had belts, moved up, and quit against a pretty good fighter. The Train quit against a good fighter whom he already had a very competitive first fight with. The Train’s was worse.

You are using their careers to judge the quitting? Rigo showed up, got schooled and simply quit due to frustration. He wasn´t visible hurt or even injured.
Ramirez got his eye smashed in.
