Cruiserweight and Welterweight is loaded with talent.

Super Middleweight seems weak to me

WW and JMW have an abundance of athletic talent and skill.
JWW, SMW and MW are fairly barren and devoid of real high
    level talent.

Honorable mention to CW, they aren't household names, but I'd pick
damn near every top level CW to turn back a LHW trying to usurp a title,
and I think all the top level CWs are competitive at HW

MW is alright now seeing that Canelo and Charlo have moved up, this is decent and doesn't belong on the weakest list:

    GGG
    Canelo
    Jacobs
    BJS
    Charlo
    Derevychenko
    Lemiuex
    Murata

140, 168 are the weak divisions, especially since Crawford is moving up and it seems like Garcia is going to go back to 135 or go up again. There are some talented fighters in the division (Taylor, Prograis, Lipinets, Oroczo, Barthelemy, etc.), but it will take a while to build up big match-ups.

CW, 126, 115, LHW are all good/strong divisions.

140 is a dead zone. As are 130-135.

All of the action is at flyweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight.

160 is strong now. Not sure why people are still mentioning it as a weak division. You've got 2 P4P fighters at the top, and a number of strong contenders on their heels. Among them, there's a good blend of pure boxers, boxer punchers, and brawlers that could make for plenty of great fights.

The original classes are well stocked with talent, if not loaded (WW, LHW). Cruiserweight is friggin' stacked. Lightweight is bouncing back, fortunately- besides Mikey, Linares doesn't really get enough credit for his turnaround, and Easter is a matchup problem for anyone. Loma will probably be there in 2018.

140 isn't doing a lot for me, particularly since Bud's moving up sooner rather than later. Seems like it's perpetually relegated to being WW's red headed step brother, and just when things seem to be turning, it gets put back in its place once the top name(s) move up from it.

168 is in a state of transition, but there are some good fighters on the way up (I'm a huge Benavidez fan). Some are annoyed that it's a division for the WBSS, but it's the perfect platform for some new names to emerge in a division that needs it. I'd like 154 better if more good fights got made, but the story of that division has been wasted matchmaking opportunities for awhile now. Jermall-Jrock was a breath of fresh air, and I'm looking forward to Lubin-Jermell. It's sandwiched between two stacked divisions, so the matches need to get made or else it's going to look worse than it really is.

I always wondered why nobody ever mentions Strawweight as the obvious weakest division. It has very little depth because there's hardly enough men that can make the weight, you can already enter the top 100 by beating 3 nobodies. Journeymen enter world title fights even more often as it happened since the PBC, and on top of it all you're from Europe or the US and can make the weight, you will be their #1 after a single fight... WIN, LOSE OR DRAW!

    For the strongest weights atm.
    Welter, Cruiser, LHW.

I think it's actually so shallow and there's so little interest in it here that alot of people forget it even exists when it comes to polls like this, or don't want to judge a class they don't follow. I think you're right, though.

How the hell is 154 full of athletic talent?:lol:

you really think it's worthy of a mention. It's almost dead now Alvarez and Jermall have moved up. I have it as the 3rd weakest.

154 routinely suffers from the same problem 140 does. It's a stepping stone division you pass through before you chase the bigger paydays & prestige of Middleweight. Occasionally, a Welter will use it for strategic purposes (can't make weight, needs to pick up a title in a new division). It's not the destination. That's why great career 154's are so rare, and why the division is more likely to be ignored if great fights aren't consistently made.

Welterweight is a destination. Middleweight is a destination. Hardly anybody says "I want to stay at 154 my entire career".
