I dont know man. Unless Ennis ends up destroying everybody at 147 i don't see him having a chance in hell against Hearns. Ennis is an outboxer and not even Sugar Ray Leonard could outbox Hearns. Leonard had to take the fight to him as did Hagler.

As of now I just can't see it. Hearns was a monster. Ennis didn't look that good against Lipinets

No one even goes the distance with Hearns.

Different eras, we will never know for sure who would beat who unless they actually meet in the ring in their primes. Saying that, if prime Hearn was active today, I would expect him to clean up.

Most people seem to view boxing as a sport of absolutes, as if Boxer A beats Boxer B 100 percent of the time. Obviously not the case.

Of the current Welterweight crop, Crawford stands the best chance because he has elite timing and power. Yes he'd be well up against it but I don't think any knowledgeable observer would be suitably shocked if Crawford smashed him on the way in and took him out. Hearns wasn't known for his cautious approach.

This is what I'm talking about. Everybody assumes that Boxer A beats Boxer B 100% of the time and that's the end of it. If that's the case, why fu cking bother watching it?

Hearns beats all of them. Crawford and Spence would obviously be the most competitive out of the current crop and anything can happen when its high level boxing, but I would not favor them.

I think that none of them has a chance to beat Hearns.
