Even though Petetson was overrated imo, Matthysse destroyed him in devestating fashion. A good few boxers could KO Khan if they land the right shot, not many could destroy the likes of Peterson in 3 rounds
Agreed. Danny Garcia himself picked Lamont Peterson to win against Matthyse, and was noticeably shocked when Peterson got blasted. When Khan was mentioned to Matthyse as a possible opponent he smirked, and moved on to the next question.
Matthyse definitely. Lots of people predicted Khan's chin getting smashed. I can't think of many who saw Peterson losing like that.
matthyse. peterson is a good boxer and should have done alot better vs matthyse i remember alot of people saying peterson would easily outbox him but matthyse made real quick work of him. garcia however was down on the scorecards and landed a solid shot to the neck area (which he was not even looking during) and managed to finish khan (which we all know khans chins reputation) conclusion - Matthyse
