    Mayweather.

Hatton had actually had a decent training camp for that one.

hatton was undefeated when may fought him, hatton was done when pac fought him but still it was hattons weight so i think may-hatton was slightly significant

oh and i think hatton was already damaged by floyd after their fight, not only physically but mentally as well

Only an idiot would compare losing an 0 at the beginning of a career vs an 0 after establishing themselves in the later stages of their career.

Again, somebody took Hatton's 0 away, and it was not Pacquiao.

Who's win is more significant over Taylor? Pavlik, Froch, or Abraham?

Nope, what we saw was that Hatton had big time trouble with Callazo and was almost knocked out by him, that fight showed that Hatton didn't belong at 147.

most significant was floyd as hatton had not showed weakness prior to that fight with floyd, before hatton fought pac we saw him on ***** street against a blown lightweight in lascano, we had never seen hatton in bad shape against such a low level opponent before floyd

floyd partially ruined hatton imo, also floyd sr done no help to hatton as his coach, hatton and graham were better than hatton floyd sr

Collazo has remained a top 10 welterweight to this day and was a champion when Hatton beat him. Beating a top 10 welterweight means you do not belong? :huh

Sorry, if you're in the top 10 and can beat people in the top 10, you belong. You don't have to be "THE MAN" to belong in a division.

What a load of crap, everyone didnt expect Floyd to dominate Hatton, in fact many if not half the posters here said that hatton would win the fight. Even more were claiming that Floyd was scared to fight hatton. After the fight with Floyd hatton was also hurt very bad by a NONE punching Juan Lazcano, at what people are claiming is his best weight. It appeared that Floyd ruined Hatton going from his fights after the fight with Floyd. Some say that Hattons fight with Collazo showed that Hatton couldnt fight at welterweight, but what is left out is that Collazo is a top 5 to 10 welterweight in the world and REALLY Berto. Its just another **** poor way of trying to dim what Floyd has done.

Yes, but we also saw his vulnerability up at welter. After that fight, it was clear any top welter would KO Hatton.

After the Malignaggi fight, no-one had proved that Hatton could be stopped, dominated, or even beaten at light-welter.

He beat Collazo and took his belt. Collazo is still a top 10 ranked welterweight to this day.

    Spin all you want.

I can name you two fights that impressed me that Hatton was real good at 140, name me at least one fight that made you belive Hatton would have been good at 147?

If you can beat a top 10 fighter, you are good.

Collazo was a champion and has remained in the top 10 to this very day. He beat Collazo and took his belt. There really is no argument.

Hatton has a win over a CURRENT top 10 welterweight and he beat him when he was champion.

Keep spinning though. Nobody is saying Hatton would be the man at 147, but to act like "he is not good" is nonsense considering he beat a consistent top 10 contender.
