    Good fights:

-Mercer (that version of Mercer sucked, though)
    -Peter
-Byrd II (prime Wlad right there)
    -Chagaev (possibly his best performance)

    Boring:

    -Hasim Rahman
    -Sultan Ibragimov

The Peter fight was careerdefining. Wlad did what none of the doubters believed. Heshowed heart and determination, got back up after the multipe rabbitpunches and the one legit knockdown and gave Peter hell. Quite impressive. ....but I nearly ripped my sofa appart that night :D

You Brits are mind-fuc*ked- most of your irrational decisions are made at the pub where there's no opposition..
"Here's one for England"... Burp. And "Here's one for Ireland, mate".. Burp.
You'd do better to sleep on it.

Anyone who knows boxing can see that Vlad is a great, well schooled boxing. He is fantastic.

I really enjoyed the Derrick Jefferson fight a a lot. I enjoyed the shortest left hook in boxing history Vs. Shufford also, but the Jefferson fight was awesome.

That's right...if he were from Britain and not Ukrain, they would be all over his jock!!

Just like, if he were American, the media here would be all over his nuts!

Complete double standard...the Brits have gotten excited about far less!!

The double standard is what has made me so angry. It's been that way for years now.

Oh...back to the thread topic...I think his last performance against Chagaev was very impressive...this was an undefeated former World Champion...Chagaev has speed, power, and a granite chin. Wlad was the very first fighter to not only put him on his behind, but to knock him out.

As far as the old version of Wlad...by far, the Ray Mercer fight was my favorite.

My favorite is the Peter fight. That was the most important win for Wlad. He loses that fight, it's possible he's retired now. The last three rounds were back and forth and that 6-inch left hook in the 12th was a thing of beauty as the Punisher can attest to :D:D

I enjoyed the boxing clinics against Chagaev and Brewster II...the spectacular kos against Brock,Shufford, Jefferson and Austin....and the punching exhibitions against Mercer and Byrd.

:rofl:fire I always hated seeing that, but it was one hell of a hook out of nowhere. The 10th round is my favorite though, when Wlad gets so stunned he drops to his knees and looks completely out of it. Too bad there was only like 10 seconds left in that round, if there was more time Peter would of probably knocked him out. Oh well, thats life.

Any fight that Waldo gets KTFO in. He's such a loser.
