your theory is flawed. when a fighter loses a fight he always looks bad, but it doesnt mean his performance has degraded. it's just that the other fighter was the better man that night.

NOBODY is always fighting guys on their prime!!
Anyway, Pacquiao would have beaten Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, Mosley and DLH (at 147) anytime, anywhere

you called him "superman" .... and frank warren is the boxing equivalent of kryponite.
therefore, no frank warren fighter will ever be a legitimate superman in boxing.

After the Floyd fight, Hatton's punch resistance had completely gone, he was actually out on his feet against Juan Lazcano in 2008. But he was 30 years old, alot of pressure fighter brawlers are physically past it by 30.

Actually looking at it, Morales and De La Hoya were coming off fights which showed they were past it, and Cotto and Margarito had their aura's shattered with brutal, grueeling stoppages that would retire alot of fighters.

Mosley and De la hoya 10.. I repeat TEN years ago would have given Manny a very good fight at 140/147.

It's their speed they have lost as they got older that's causing them problems against these younger fighters. There's a blue print to beating pacquiao... just they havent got the reflexes to do it anymore.

And also... anyone who thinks Hatton was a 'superman' at 140 going into the MP fight is clearly drunk on LOL juice.

    yes you're right.
not enough fighters from europe do what hatton did - find out their limits.

Most boxers that Pacquiao fought had big reputation before he demolished them.
Examples are dela Hoya (who's odds on favorite), Hatton (unbeaten in JWW), Cotto and Margarito (w/ enormous physical advantage).

He was the best of a bad bunch at 140.. still a good boxer but WAS NOT elite.

As i said.. KO waiting to happen.
