Are you absolutely sure that the punch resistance mattered on his fight with pacquiao?

he got hopelessly schooled by floyd.. looked horrible against collazo and urango. Was badly hurt by Lazcano (LOL). And then was matched against the only guy at 140 who couldnt punch through a paper bag just to lull the boxing public into thinking he could still mix it at the very top.

I never gave him a chance against manny..

i find it disturbing how manny pacquiao was able to exploit the loopholes of boxing to make a name for himself. he is a fraud. imagine, the scrawny little boy making jumps in more than nine weight classes and preying on world class fighters past their peak.

fortunately few fighters have been able to dupe us this way. hopefully, agbeko defeating the ambitious fraud darchinyan would put a stop to this habit

Does the FACT he NEVER fought again after the pacquiao loss not suggest he wasnt at the peak of his career ?

what do you expect, you can't always have top world class p4p fights all at their prime at once... when it does happen its magical

people who make something of themselves in life don't end up anywhere by letting other people dictate what they can and can't do..and what hand fate will deal them.

    don't talk such baby****.

so, with that saying, do you believe that any lightweight could have beaten him @140?

if yes, who? if not, why did manny finished him in 2 while mayweather need 8 more rounds?

The infamous 1 defeat = everything is gone. Apparently a lifetime of skills and conditioning disappears in 1 fight, even 1 round.

sorry to break it to you most athletes, even scrubs, do not fall of the cliff. While the rate of degradation is varies with each athlete, the always never fall vertically crash. It is a long process usually 2-3 years before you can differentiate.

So I don't buy that Hatton, Cotto or Margo are shot, cheeeny drained BS. It is just a criticism use to discredit a fighter from people with agendas. According to you most of SRRs wins over HoF does not count since many of them had 1, 2,3, 5, 6, or more defeats when SRR beat them.

Floyd fought hattons reputation for 5 or 6 rounds... when he realised he wasnt at his level he started to let the hands go. Floyd is also the one who broke hattons punch resistance.

Manny is also far more offensive and came out from the first bell to beat a guy who is a clear class or two below him.
