on top of that, floyd breaks fighters down and dares them to take him out of his comfort zone.

manny is a straight up offense fighter.

    different fighters, different styles.

and nobody is saying you can't have an opinion. just expect some people to disagree with it and enjoy the debate that comes from it.

    why?
he deserves more respect for what he's done than some european fighters who were more skilled than him but achieved less.

Even if hatton's punch resistance was still at its peak, he would have still lost to Pac. Ricky was being beaten from pillar to post that night. Pac was just a better fighter.

I agree completely no version of hatton would have beaten pacquiao that night, he was taking too many shots, even if he had stayed up he would have been stopped eventually from the accumulation of blows pacquiao was landing at around 60 percent

The only world class fighter Manny fought at their peak was Marquez in the first fight. People who say Barrera was at his peak are lying. He changed his style by the time Manny fought him. I'm not saying he was shot, but he was def not in his prime. Yes Barrera was on a win streak but that doesn't mean he was in his prime. Floyd is on a 41 fight win streak, but he is not in his prime anymore. Hatton was not the same fighter after Floyd. When fighters lose their first fight by KO, its hard mentally to come back from. Cotto just had took a beating from Marg and wen't through life and death with Clottey. Marquez was not at his peak in the second Pac fight and Morales damn sure wasn't in either fight. Marg was suspended for a year. Before that he got KO by Shane Mosley.

suddenly there is such a thing as fighting an opponent's reputation. ****en lol and it took mayweather 8 rounds to notice, after getting tangled, and almost knocked down in the early rounds. by the ninth round, he came to the conclusion that he is fighting an empty shell and all he needs to do is let his hands go. ****en lol, its amazing how the minds of some posters here go about:lol::lol::lol:

He was overly cautious... didnt look to engage too much off the front foot.
