Loma over Mikey. Garcia is more proven in his career than Spence is. Also, proportionately Loma is much smaller than Mikey than Bud is of Spence.
Loma over Mikey, Garcia is damn good and will hold some serious physical advantages over him, it will be a seriously impressive win in my opinion. Crawford Spence is such a mouthwatering fight and it would be a great win for Crawford cuz Spence is a big solid strong Welter whose very good at what he does, but without knowing the facts i bet there isnt that much between them physically, i bet the stand similar, but Bud is a more skilled fighter and as long as hes happy at the weight i would expect him to win anyway.
I'd have to go with a Loma win over Mikey, for the simple reason that Mikey is a more accomplished fighter than Spence.
Spence. He's a better fighter than Mikey. Regarding size: Mikey fought at the lower weights just like Loma. Spence never fought at 135 like Crawford. Loma deserves no extra points in the comparison for a size disadvantage.
It's not about Mikey being more accomplished than Spence but rather the advantages he has over Loma that need to be overcome. Actually there is not much difference. Mickey has more American professional fights but Loma's experience far exceeds Mikey's and Mikey has no real advantages in weight. They both fought their way up from the same divisions. Loma has a one inch height advantage and Mikey has a two inch reach advantage. No sense in talking about skill advantages, Loma is ranked p4p number one and that speaks for it's self. Mikey has an advantage in power but Loma has the speed. These fighters are more equally matched than people would like to believe.
Loma beating Mikey of course. Mikey is a four weight world champion so he has dared to be great x 4 and he's going to be doing it again up at 147 against Spence who is a one weight champion who isn't daring to be much at all on his Featherfist World Tour beating up on leprechauns and munchkins. Mikey is ranked #7 P4P by The Ring and absolutely deserves his place in the top 10, whereas Spence is ranked #9 and is not deserving of his spot in the top 10. Mikey is clearly much bigger than Loma, like at least 9 or 10lbs heavier, whereas Crawford was coming in heavier 2 years ago down at 140 than Spence weighed in his last fight and Crawford had been working hard with his S&C coach since then bulking up, adding muscle, and just getting bigger to prepare him for 147. If Loma and Mikey fight each other Mikey will have a significant weight advantage, but if Crawford and Spence fight each other they will very likely weigh the same give or take a pound or 2 either way and Crawford might even weigh more than him. Mikey has beaten Broner, Lipinets, Salido, Easter, Roman Martinez, Zlaticanin, Juan Manuel Lopez, Juan Carlos Burgos, Jonathan Victor Barros (most if not all of whom can punch and all of whom were former or current world champions) Spence has beaten Brook, Algieri (career 140 pounder featherfist was 1-2 in his last 3 fights), Peterson (career 140 pounder featherfist), Bundu (42 y/o featherfist) and only 3 were former or current world champions. Hmmm.. Mikey four-weight champ and has beaten 10 world champions Spence one weight champion and only beat 3 Mikey beat 5 undefeated fighters Easter (world champ) Lipinets (world champion) Zlaticanin (world champion) Matt Remilard Other one was a scrub Spence beat 2 Ocampo Lartey Mikey is 8-0 in world title fights spanning 4 weight divisions Spence is 3-0 spanning just one So far Spence has only beaten one world class opponent his own size and they were weight drained, coming off a loss, a beating, back down from 160 after bulking up to fight up there (it's hardly a secret that making 147 before bulking up to fight at 160 was torturous for them), and off a serious eye injury and surgery to repair it. Mikey has beaten world class fighters his own size and even bigger many times and to put it bluntly is a far more proven fighter than Spence. If Mikey and Spence were the same size Mikey would paddle his ass.
Both would be great wins. Mikey-Loma is a 50/50 fight where I see Crawford-Spence as a 60/40 Spence type of fight.
Loma over Garcia for me, because I have no idea who Crawford or Spence are. Never saw them fight. So I can't judge them.
If don't matter if Loma beats Mikey or Mikey beats Loma, or whether Spence beats Crawford or visa versa, the wins will be exceptional. All four of those fighters are A class top level talent. Saying one is better than the other is just nit picking at it's finest. Relax and enjoy the show.
