1. one fight against Mayweather followed by retirement or 2. Returning to 140, cleaning out the division within two years and unifying the titles
Fight Mayweather, then retire (Win/Lose) (Hagler style) The 140lbs option don't intrigue me at all. I'm sure the census would say Pac wins against most 140lbs champs. (without having to even throw a punch, meaning he would be the FAV.)
I think it would be more impressive to beat Bradley, Alexander, Khan and Maidana than just one fight against Mayweather. However, legacy wise, Mayweather would obviously look better on his record.
well if he fights mayweather i see him loosing so ill say go down to 140 and clean up would be more impressive but he needs to get big bob with the ****ing program and get the fight on
Clearly the Mayweather fight. What would have been more acceptable for Chavez ?... facing p4p rival Whitaker at 147 or beating the **** out of the 140 lbers that arent on his level ?.... same answer. May-Pac will decide the best boxer of an entire era, there is nothing bigger in boxing, nothing.
I'd be impressed if he didn't have that fear of giving up his roids and peeing in a cup. But that's just me being picky.
Taking a drug test would be a great feat, because with that we could witness the fight everyone wants now. I doubt that Manny or even Mayweather want to face and risk millions fighting guys like Williams, Bradley, Berto, or even guys like Cintron and Martinez.
