Having the likes of Floyd Rigo Ward a very skilled but boring-as-fūck fighters dominate or Having Pac Kovalev GGG Provo Matthysse occupy the pound for pound list? If skilled fighters dominate boxing then our sport will be more and more irrelevant and will be passed by MMA. Casual fans want blood. They don't want to see someone dancing and winning via shutout.

A mixture of both, like we have now.

Excitement brings in the fans, which means more money, which means more boxing for us....so go Kovalev, Pacquiao and Lucas

I fully agree with you. If Rigo and Ward and all highly skilled boxers dominate the landscape boxing is fùcked.

I'll tell you what would be better for boxing is zero tolerance for holding. Too many fighters, especially highly touted ones, are allowed to hold. A lot of these guys hit and hold throughout the fight, which makes it extremely frustrating to watch. The other thing is running. It is one thing to be elusive, it is another to simply run around the ring. Warn early and then take points early to set the stage for an interesting, entertaining fight.

the more guys like Triple G and Kovalev dominate the less tolerance fans will have for the prima donnas who run, duck and clinch.
