Mayweather jr. vs. De La Hoya

    Mayweather jr. vs. Hatton

    Mayweather jr. vs. Margarito

    Mayweather jr. vs. Cotto

Floyd somehow believes that Hatton and De La Hoya bring in more money than Cotto and Margarito, but it seems that these two challengers (Cotto and Margarito) are the one's MOST boxing fans want to see fight Mayweather jr. Who would YOU pay to see and why?

I don't buy fights, but as a sports fan I'd like the Mayweather-Cotto match to happen. Oscar-Floyd I was close enough to have some intrigue for a rematch.

    I wouldn't be interested in a Floyd-Hatton rematch.
Floyd-Margarito? So-so. I think Floyd wins handily, but Margarito is tough.

I'm not gonna lie I would probably buy all four of them. The kicker for me is that against Margo and Hatton there would have to be a good undercard. And I would honestly pay $100 to see Cotto/Mayweather (with no undercard)

    Mayweather jr. vs. Margarito

    Mayweather jr. vs. Cotto

I already payed for Mayweather/Hatton. And never cared for the DLH fight.

    Mayweather jr vs Cotto

    Mayweather jr vs Margarito

Then Mayweather can retire, Win or lose. He would of had satisfied the need for fighting true bona-fide welters at their prime.

I'd pay for the last two. I might get a Hatton rematch depending on the undercard - I still thought it was an exciting fight. I'm boycotting DLH-Mayweather.

HOWEVER, DLH-Mayweather WILL make the most money. Even if all the diehards refuse to buy the fight (normal PPV take for a decent fight between not that well knows fighters is 300k - 350k), and even if half the people who bought the first fight refuse to buy the second one because it was a fairly boring fight, then it would STILL turn a bigger margin than PBF-Margarito, and it might even do better than PBF-Cotto.

It's not the boxing fans that make a fight super profitable - it's the non-boxing fans, and the non-fans pay to see NAMES, not good fights.

PBF is right I doubt that PBF-Margo or PBF-Cotto would do more than PBF-Hatton 2 or PBF-Oscar 2. What most here fail to realize is that we here are real boxing fans and want PBF-Cotto but the general sport fan doesn't really even know who Margo or Cotto are yet. Hopefully it can change but as of right now he makes more money in the rematches because they are household names.

He believes this cause its true. It doesn't matter howmany people here say they won't pay to see this **** twice. There are plenty more out there that will....probably more that would pay to see Hatton fight him if this took place in England...simply to be a part of the spectacle. I can see the mayweather DLH fight being a bust. I bet HBO is pissed they will have to pick it up.

I can also see Cotto DLH doing better numbers then a PBF DLH rematch.

I think Hatton drawing power among US fans are overrated. He brings a **** load of people from home to the states for his fights butI don't think his market amongst US fans is as big as people claim.

I'd pay to see a Hatton rematch way before I'd pay to see that sparing session twice. And I'm no Brit.

PBF-Hatton did 800K in US buys right? The worldwide numbers were much more. I say that would easily beat PBF-Margo and possibly even PBF-Cotto.
