Ward should have known better than to associate with Balco. You have two self proclamed "Godly" men in Pac and Ward, so they are supposed to know right from wrong. If they are cheating though, I hope that they get exposed as soon as possible.

So I guess this is now a race issue. Anyway, Ward is doing nothing illegal. Conte actually works with the USADA to catch drug cheats. Let's also not forget that the Federal government is watching him like a hawk; making it almost impossible for him to continue to distribute PEDs. Regardless, if Ward was asked to undergo rigorous drug testing in what would be the biggest fight of his life both in terms of money and legacy, and gave bull**** reasons for not wanting to do so; lots of suspicion would be rightfully raised.

Pac started being considered shady after he didn't take the blood tests and claimed it was because the blood weakened him. Ward isn't facing much criticism because he isn't well known. There's a chance that this could eventually become a big story. At that point, it will be up to Ward to adequately defend himself. If he can't he'll face more scrutiny. As of now, he's done nothing wrong and there haven't been many questions asked.

The differences are:

1. Ward is not refusing Olympic style testing and turning down 40 million dollars, while using foolish excuses.

2. Ward didn't move up several weight classes while annihilating much bigger fighters.

3. No one is claiming that Ward is a morally upstanding person with facts saying otherwise.

4. No one is claiming that Ward is not on PEDs, because we simply do not know and we have no reason to think he is at this point.

5. Victor Conte would be incredibly stupid to try this stuff now with the Government on his back.
