So you insist SHO should pay Pac 40M+ compared to 2M for Maidana? 2x revenue yet Pac deserves 20x pay? Not going to happen. SHO is not Pac's charity.

 

After Floyd tried to LowBall Pac into accepting a $40M flat fee without any PPV upside, Arum offered a $50M flat fee to Mayweather under the same terms. Arum immediately saw through Floyd's offer and tried to mock it by declaring his counter offer which Floyd naturally rejected or did not even bother to think knowing that it's still a lowball for a fight of that magnitude.

 

Pac-Floyd would have made at least 3M buys back then and it's still possible now. Huge venue sales and money from sponsors. Mayweather and Arum knew this that's why they offered the $40M and $50M offer.

whatever arum said/did after that isnt relevant.....because that original call didnt even have arum in the picture....it was between floyd and manny.......manny could have worked with floyd to get some sort of deal together....then told bob he wanted the fight and that bob should step aside....

instead manny contradicted previous claims and said 50/50 or nothing and hung up...and at that time...manny was not in line for 50 percent

 

50/50 at that time is the fair offer more than a flat fee without a PPV share that could have a potential to generate a great amount of buys. Arum knew that the offer was BS for a fight of that magnitude and fielded his own offer.

It's called the Pacquiao sweepstakes. Being Mayweather's opponents is just a consolation price in comparison since Mayweather gets most of the loot + his named undercards to jackup the PPV buys.

lets face it....a guy like marquez? hes worth every penny he gets fighting pac....prob more.....now a guy like bradley? hes prob actually worth about what a guerrero or ortiz got to be fighting pac......bradley got some money for his rematch cause he was needed.....in reality if arum cared about pac bradley would be gettin like 2 mil and more would be goin into pacs pocket so he could pay his taxes
