Lol.. showtime will have to force Mayweather to fight Pac because they could not sustain overpaying him while fighting the likes if Gurrero and Maidana. Showtime will lose money if Floyd's PPV buys continues to dwindle.

pac was not in line for 50/50 then....you know ...i know it...we all know it.....so that was out of the question and pac even said hed be willing to take less....thats the problem with pac...he says things....says hes willing to do things....then when its time to walk it....thats what he does....he walks....hes willing to take less....hes willing to talk...hes willing to take tests....yet everytime these issues have been there....he walks

The line was more closer to 50/50 than Mayweather's offer which is BS in the first place. Which points back to my original point. If you think the flat fee was generous enough for Pac, then Mayweather should gave accepted the $50M flat fee. it's 20% more than Floyd's offer.

you keep going back to that....yet you ignore floyd reached out....and manny just hung up without even saying "hey maybe we can figure something out"...instead he hung right up and stopped the lines of communication from being open when he had a chance to.......you keep ignoring the fact that pac said hed take less then said 50/50 or nothing....then went on to say hed even fight for free.....talk about all over the place huh?

stop going back to that and answer why is it pac says hell take less...says hell take tests....says this and that....but when its time to walk it...he dodges tests to fight floyd.....he says 50/50 or nothing and doesnt even try to negotiate with floyd......if he wanted to pursue it he could have tried to work with floyd

you keep hiding behind this counter offer from arum...who was pissed floyd suggesting cutting him out of the picture ....and that floyd called manny directly.....arums "offer" was just his typical grandstanding acting as if he actually wanted to pursue the fight....thats what he does....blows smoke up peoples ass.....every sign ive ever seen says arum hasnt even ever really tried......and alot of people can see it too....arum knew there was no way in hell floyd was taking that deal....and you know what...maybe floyd knew there was no way manny was taking that deal too....who knows.....but at least floyd reached out personally.....manny could have tried to negotiate a deal where that offer was there and he could have started receiving more money once it hit certain revenue goals/ppv numbers.....but he didnt even wanna talk

I think you man to say Floyd said no and he had a right to, just like PAC said no as he had a right to, due to the terms being rubbish

It does seem like PAC fights pay better

1.5 mil that chino made was a joke for a ppv of that magnitude

maybe when you fight floyd you should get little money since you don't get hurt just like a walk in the park. with pacman you should get paid more since you will get hurt just like going to hell and back. now, which fight does the payers want to watch to pay is the question?

My point is if two guys who aren't at the top of their non-glamour division can generate that kind of payday independent of the big promoters, then why doesn't it happen in America in other weight classes?

People go on about the Mayweather lottery, yet they make half of what Groves made against Froch.

Why can't US promoters generate hype and sell good fights that pay the fighters fairly? It seems like all anyone over here cares about is Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Pacquiao-Mayweather. There are good fights to be made and promoters ain't promoting.

Even a star like Cotto is making about HALF of what Froch made, and he's moving up to fight for an historic title. What's the deal?
