All I kept thinking was that Abraham hits hard as hell. Miranda was taking wicked shots all night from Ward and didn't go down. When he fought AA it was like a HW vs. LW.
I think there is something in the theory Abraham struggles with weight. It's rumoured, but Abraham seemed a lot stronger in that fight compared to recently, and his first fight against Miranda.
Abraham has a hard left hook/uppercut. He somehow miss with a strait right near the opponents right side of the head, they move there head to the side, and when the head moves back, bang left hook KO. Watch the Gevor, Ayala KO.
disagree. I remember Abraham vs Marquez, he looked strong as ever. SAme with Demers, Gevor, Ayala, etc. Abraham is probably the strongest p4p puncher in the sport.
I wouldn't say Ward has no power. Not saying he's a KO artist, but he does some pop. I'll bet he'll get some KO's as a champ.
Yeah, he does that by design. The right hand is used to get his opponents in position for the hybrid hook/uppercut. He used a similar tactic against Miranda for the second knockdown.
As a Kessler fan, i would love to see him similar miss with a jab and then connect with a huge right hand :hey (Actually wrote to him about it - no reply though :verysad).
The hardest pound for pound punchers in the sport are (in no particular order) Haye, Miranda,Darchynian, Pacquiao, and Juanma.
If this is true, how do you explain the growing list of mediocre fighters who went the distance with Arthur?
