If De La Hoya was a B+ Power puncher, What does Pea classify himself?
(I say Pernell was a C/D+ Power Puncher at best)

Pea would know how Oscar was in his prime...after all he DID face Oscar in his prime and made him look amateurish.

For the sake of clarification I'd like to know what you expect out of boxers? To stand in one place and let them hit each other? I'm not trying to put words in your mouth but that what it sounds to me.

Sweet Pea fought him, therefore he knows what he's talking about.

He should have gotten the victory in their fight in my opinion. If not, a draw.

I think Oscar was agreat fighter and could compete with the 80's WW IMO. But he did when against Mosley in the second fight and Tito imo. Your are also right about his one punch power and you can add Norris to the mix also. Also you have to understand Mosley in his prime was the man especially at 135. To bad he never went to 140, him and Tszyu would been a great matchup. I also favor Mosley in that one. But I think in his prime he would probably been the closet to beating Floyd imo

I consider what Rafael Marquez and Chrisitan Mijares do boxing. That other straight up running style is bull****. Like what Guzman, Ivan Calderon, Mayweather, and several others do. Just my opinion, dont get your underwear dirty over it. :rofl :rofl :rofl

Read it again "De La Hoya Was B+ In His Prime, And Not A Big Puncher"

Punching power is one of the criteria to rate someone but not the most important.

Anyone that know's boxing should have said that JCC when he fought pea he was not in his real prime or prime weight class he was not the same that fought Edwin or Taylor ect so if he had fight him in he's prime and at 135 it would have been a deffrent story not saying that he will win but another fight not the one we saw.

If it's either because you're sticking up for your boy, or you do genuinely believe Oscar to have neen B+ in his prime - either way, you're wrong.
