SRL easily beats both Whitaker & Chavez & Duran beat SRL... so Duran should in theory clearly beat Whitaker.

It doesnt always work like that duranimal... but Im with you on Duran beating Whitaker in their primes, he has the all round skills to not get embarassed & even get the better of Pea at times + the power to do accumulative damage & finish the much stronger fighter in the last 3rd of the fight, he also has enough pop to score a KD.

Ps. A LWT fight between Pea & JCC is more competitive IMO, Duran would be too much at his peak for any version of Whitaker.

Both Duran AND Whitaker get more than enough praise on classic ESB, they are probably the 2 most popular fighters here... they actually rival Pacquiao in the general forum for popularity.
