Whitaker, IMO, is one of the 10 greatest fighters to ever enter the ring on a H2H basis, absolutely phenominal. However, I don't like this fight per say because I don't like seeing him struggle with a B level guy, even though he brought a sick KO in the end.

He was a damn good fighter....but he telegraphed his punches too much and lacked in the chin area. But output, speed, power...he had it.

While FLoyd is one of my favorite fighters, what you said isnt true. I think this would have been a hell of a fight if it did happen. But teachin Sweet Pea nah dont see that. THink Pea is a more complete fighter in the sense that they both are fast, but Pea uses his speed 2 his advantage and puts his punches 2gether. Other than that I cant say they are far apart from each other from a skill standpoint.

Both have very good defense, tremendous rather.
    Great footwork for both
    Both are very smart fighters
Both good headmovement, all though I might be leaning towards Pea in this category.

I mean it would have been a good fight if this fantasy fight took place.

Ummm, did you even WATCH this fight?

Hurtado was winning a CLOSE fight. Clearly winning, but....boxing Pea's ears off? The main reason he was up were the knockdowns and the point deduction (tho there were plenty for both fighters...)....along with his overall output adding to it. BUT the better boxer in that ring was STILL Whitaker....BY FAR BTW!

And when did Whitaker run in that fight? He ****ING BLASTED Hurtado...one of the more viscious knockouts you will see. 10 straight telegraphed power punches and Hurtado gets knocked out the ring (tho the ref shouldve stopped it at like 3 or 4....shame really).

You really should see fights before you make outlandish comments like that bro....ya really should.

Pea was the man. One of the greatest boxers to have ever stepped into the ring. This was a great come from behind victory.

Awesome finish by Pea, just brutal.
He looked **** up unti then though and was starting to show signs of fading.

That being said the fight showed Hurtado was a decent fighter beside his chin. He had power, size and decent skills and that was just at welter, to bad he just had a terrible chin.
