LOL NOT a single person that really knows this sport and knows the fighters wouldn't ever pretend pea is anywhere near Floyds skill level.
nevermind when a kid he beat the **** outta a undefeated Pro in pae. team floyd had to tell him to lay off a little which he did and still controlled every second

    He always says that.

"Whitaker had no offense", "The problem is his resume".

Against women only, but in Boxing Pea had a better offense by far.

Up to 2007 Mayweather was a +24 in punch connect percentage per compubox

    Roy Jones Jr +20

    Pernell Whitaker +16

But here's the difference, Mayweather at his peak averaged 45 punches per round, Whitaker averaged 62 punches per round. Blistering pace in comparison.

Sweet pea would make floyd look like a fool missing left & right with his 1-2s lol.You can't beat pernell by throwing pot shots even for a accurate fighter like floyd. You have to throw combos & hope you land a few here & there.

Whitaker had a better jab better workrate and maybe arguably better defense. PBF better hand speed better counter-puncher more power chin and better ring IQ. I said better ring IQ because Whitaker clowned far too much in the ring and that brings him down a notch.

True that PBF is fare more disciplined than Pea was out of the ring always in the gym somewhat of a sick obsession for it. Also more focused inside as well. Pea clowned far too much and it rubs judges the wrong way. Perfect example against Oscar.
