Ah, sorry but here you aren´t really right. Yeah, there are often racist songs in football, not only in Spain, Russia and Croatia but also in England, France, Italia, Germany. But nearly every of the guys singing them aren´t racists. They just want to insult the opponent team. That´s not political correct but most football supporters aren´t interested in beeing political correct - including myself. Also the French together with the Italians have the most racist supporters and even fanclubs in Western Europe. So you are surely not right. Last year two fanclubs were forbidden in France because of that. So, to say Spains, Russians and Crotians are racist because of their fans singing is just wrong. I don´t doubt there are racists in these countrys, in every country are some, but they surely aren´t even a big minority.
Indeed but having a lot of afro-américain, africans people leads to another kind of racism. The kind of racism that won't allow you to get some things like a job or a home. And unfortunately, France is one of the leader in that.
Whittaker had a style that didn't turn people on. Some judges love the come forward approach even if they are shipping damage and missing... I heard a rumour that the bad decision in the Ramirez fight was recompence for him turning down the Chavez fight. Chavez's people wanted Whittaker before Julio got to 140 and before he burnt out. Pea's people didn't think he was ready... DK wanted Whittaker to know who was boss... True? I don't know... I don't think racism comes into it. I mean if it did there would be 100s of bad decisions all over the place. And if you talk to a racist or white supremacist then Chavez, DLH and Ramirez aren't white either... Racism defintiely exists in boxing but it's more in terms of purses, exposure and opportunities... Even in racist times gone by white fighters lost close decisions to non-whites...
He was robbed against Ramirez in France. So much for your race theory. Sorry to say that but to take race as a excuse is just pathetic.
It was a something of home-town decision for Jose Luis Ramirez, who had been fighting in France sence 1986.
