Whitaker is the one guy that could outbox fmj... unlike others, I don`t think it would be a boring fight but instead a top level technical boxing match.

Whitaker`s activity & jab would be the key here, I think that gives him the points victory here.

    Mayweather.

I know it's cool to hate on current athletes and give ridiculous props to retired ones, but Floyd is a once in a lifetime talent. Whitaker - who was himself a phenom - puts up a respectable effort, but Floyd has too many tools.

135-140 Sweet Pea all day. 147-154 it's 50-50, maybe slight edge to Floyd.

Whitaker was a flat-out better and more effective fighter. He wins an 8-4 type of decision. Clear. Better jab. Better offensively. Better defense. Better off of the backfoot. Better on the inside.

Hard one to pick. Pea had a southpaw jab that you know would trouble mayweather but was also more aggresive when need be which would give Floyd plenty of chances to counter. I think it depends on the day, with either fighter being able to win a close decision.

At 147 Floyd... at 140... I still say Floyd.. Floyd hasn't really used his whole arsenal up at 147... the Mosley fight has been the most we've seen

Not saying Floyd blows him out though

whoever said if they fought one hundred times whitaker would win a hundred times is a little off...
floyd will cause Whitaker problems as well would be a great technical fight

Whitaker wins IMO at 135 and 140 because of his activity jab and southpaw style, at 147 and 154 i favor floyd because whitaker became more offensive and came forward more which would play into Mayweathers hands

I always go back and forth two of my all-time favs....in a 3 fight series whitaker would win IMO but Floyd has the tools to trouble him...Mayweather was faster on his feet had faster hands, a longer reach and just as high of a ring IQ...fights a toss up either way but gotta favor whitaker but neither has been in the ring with a fighter like the other
