And this is pretty much the extent of anything you post. You're a cheerleader, nothing more.

It would be a close fight either way and a chess match in the ring. Anybody saying different has an agenda. Neither fighter would win convincingly or by a large margin.

That really doesn't mean **** when they are in the ring and judging "resume" across eras is always subjective. Neither fighter would win by a large margin given their abilities and styles.

Both are ATG fighters, and both would be competitive against each other. This fight would be close no matter who won.

And speaking of resume: Roger Mayweather had a competitive fight with Whitaker. Floyd is a much better boxer than his uncle and Uncle Roger wasn't exactly known for his granite chin either.

I think its a toss up. I can't lean towards either fighter because regardless of who I say would win, I wouldn't be confident in the chose. But this damn sure is a dream match.

what a classic matchup in a way and probably the most boring fight we could ever have. Neither guy would really open up and the rounds would go by quickly and go down to the wire. I pick is Whitaker. He was a guy who fought the best without delay like Mayweather, and his southpaw stance made his style even more dominating.

I wouldn't go that far, for starters, Floyd is a much better puncher.

I think Floyd's size and aggressive nature against southpaws would win him a decision down the stretch. The great thing about defensive boxers is that most fights they lose...you could argue they won. The drama around the 10-12th rounds as the pressure mounts would be must watch TV.

Mayweather is a low budget movie compared to the high tech CGI special effects of Pete Whitaker. Pete controls this with his jab. Forces Mayweather to lead and even gets in his grill at times, digs to the body and out-hustles Lil Floyd. Pernell would fight 3 fights in 1 and take this on a comfortable decision.

Only Duran has a chance with a peak lightweight Sweet Pete.

Mayweather beats him at any weight, especially at 140lbs

Mayweather has all the physical advantages, faster hands, reflexes, reach, height and Floyd has more power.

If you give Floyd opportunity to let his hands go and overpower you , he will.
