Whitaker vs Mayweather

    For a boxing purist this one would have been a dream. To me it comes down to Floyd's right hand leads against Pernell's right jab and Whitaker showed he was an expert on moving away from the right. With most everything being blocked in this bout who would you pick?

    whitaker wins, he is simply the better fighter

    Whitaker had a far superior all round game and more power. Floyd would be in with a real slickster who could fight in the pocket or on the outside. Pea = one of the true top tier ATG's

    Apparently Floyd tooled Pea in his prime when he sparred him...

    I'd go with Pea. He makes his defense count - He uses it to be offensive where May doesn't. That'd be the difference in the fight, IMHO.

    I think prime Whitaker boxes his ears off, but gets robbed of the decision, ever notice how Mayweather won't fight anywhere else but Vegas,:-(
