Why on Earth would Dana give Finkelstein and Gary Millen half of the pot? Thats absurd. M-1 is incredibly tiny next to the UFC, they will never get half of everything.

M1 is ruining the best years of Fedor's career by using him as a bargaining chip to get a deal only an idiot would agree to.

It doesn't make business sense for him to allow it. Dana does want to monopolise UFC and giving any of these other orgs a platform would not be good for business, especially if Fedor wins. Fedor is one thorn in the side of UFC.

White: M-1's request is like Brett Favre doing a deal with a team saying "We're going be 50% partners".

White: "I'm over the deal." Fedor got offered "an assload of money....he can fight sambo every Thursday night" for all White cares.

Dream might but the money wouldnt be nearly as much as fedor would get in the ufc especially with portions of the ppv money involved.
with strikeforce the only way i could see them doing it is nearly bankrupting themselves over one fighter trying to keep up with the ufc like elite xc did with kimbo slice.
other than that whos got the money???especially for more than a one off fight

Let's hope this is the dark moment that offer sometimes occurs before a deal is reached. It often happens in boxing. Two camps are negotiating, things look like they're destined to fall apart, and then suddenly an agreement is reached.
Of course, here we're talking about two completely separate organizations so it's not quite the same. But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

Such a cop out, he gets a cut of the PPV, and unlike his other fights, this one will do #'s, because it has a draw, which Fedor is not to the casual fan. With Fedor and Lesnar (and then Fedor by himself after that if he wins) the PPV money is better than guaranteed, it has the potential to be unbelievably high.

You can't guarantee PPV cut, because it isn't known, but what is known is that it will be a ****ing lot.

Finklescum using this cop out is so like him.

There is absolutely no way Fedor would make less in one fight in the UFC with a PPV cut, especially with Lesnar on the card, than he does in two fights elsewhere.

You can't guarantee cuts, but you can guarantee percentages and minimums.

Right, which is done for the other guys with that deal.

Fecalstains issue is that since only the % is guaranteed of a show that's gonna do 1,000,000+ views at $45 a pop, a fight where he gets 2-3m up front is actually "more money" Than 1-2m up front plus 5-6m in PPV revenue.
