Lol he's got Bader in July. Bader is younger, faster with more stamina and a better grappler while Tito hasn't won for time now. I know Tito lost to Griffin in a split dec but am I the only one who thinks this is a relatively easy night for Bader?
Nothing new about Dana dislike for Tito. Got pissed Bigtime at Tito for bowing out of the Chuck fight. Still has to pay Tito to fight so why not feed him. People will buy the PPV to see Tito fight even at this stage, and he can sell a fight. Tito should get beat..but will laugh at Dana one last time..all the way to the bank.
Most 205'ers in the UFC would easily beat Tito these days Tito hasnt been relevant in the last 4 years , he has been slaughtered with injury's and his skill set is somewhat out dated That said the Tito that fought Vitor Belfort back in the day would be a handfull for most of the middle of the range 205 lb'ers in the UFC right now , and maybe even the top rated guys .
Tito is still one of the highest paid fighters in the UFC. Guess Dana's making him earn his keep. Anyway when his contract is up which is soon he'll be off. Dana only resigned him to prevent SF getting him.
Tito is going to lose this sure, but he aint getting no beating from Bader. Top position and hammerfists is all he has to worry about
Its been over 5 years since he beat anyone not named Ken Shamrock..( Forrest Griffin April 2006) If Tito cant outwrestle you then he wont win and I dont see him getting the better of Bader here as well...The question is if Tito loses is this finally it for him in the UFC?
'Prime' Bader would get his ass handed to him by Wanderlei, Belfort, let alone Chuck and Randy. Bader has accomplished nothing to to suggest he beats a Prime Ortiz and is yet another example of limited TUF guys being fed faded legends ala Shaub.
At one point Ortiz was bigger than Dana and the UFC..... it still pissed Dana off that some one could have more press coverage than him.
I think tito ortiz is screwed against bader he needs to retire and just focus on marketing himself and his company more.
