Who´s the Best Counter-Puncher ever ?

    Older trainers I've learned from have always told me Benny Leonard and Willie Pep were arguably the best counterpunchers the sport has ever seen.

    Jersey Joe, Sweet Pea, Mike McCallum and Roy Jones Jr are also great counterpunchers. Even though I'm not a big fan of him, Delahoya in his prime was a pretty good counterpuncher.

    Nobody's mentioned Eddie Mustafa Muhammed who was a terrific counterpuncher in a very tough era of lightheavyweights.

    Great call for Eddie Mustafa...really, this is a real tough thread question, as there were so many great counterpunchers to choose from.

    Rosario vs Bramble was shocking.It Seemed like he just quit after realising how hard Rosario hit.Prior to it he had seemed a tough fighter that prided himself on playing mind games with his opponents.

    I know he claimed he was thumbed but i'm not so sure that was the reason he stayed down.

    No prob mate..by the way, I just got finished waching all 15 rounds of Johnson-Pastrano again..a perennial favorite of mine.
