Well, old Tucker went the distance agsinst Lennox Lewis. Plus a lot of punchers went the distance against guys with bad chins. Shavers went the distance against LHW Rondon, Lewis went the distance against Billups who was KOed 10 times etc.

Foreman has the best resume to H2H ratio for me he beat the highest pedigree of opponents brutally.

He hides his at times lack of knowledge behind a fake persona it’s very obnoxious it’s a get out of jail free card in heated debates.

Mike Tyson & Joe Louis have the best highlight reels of knockouts.

I picked George first, but rewatching the Louis highlight reels...this guy was unbelievable. Nobody had combinations as deadly. Nobody.

Even FOTC Frazier, Holmes, Lewis, prime George...they wouldn't have made it. Tyson would have been jabbed silly then half-murdered imo.

Joe Louis just had that punchers flow. He was so fluid in his combinations it looks like he can keep throwing forever, but I picked Tyson based on explosiveness.

I can sympathize with your assertion...but I think Joe would outlast Mike. Joe was capable of taking punishment and lasting into the later rounds for a ko.

But is it more impressive to KO a guy right off the breadlines or KO Norton and Frazier and Moorer? Most of Dempsey's victims wouldn't be licensed as heavies today, certainly not to fight what are considered elite heavies today.

Honestly, Wilder deserves a huge mention for getting as far as he did with nothing BUT a KO punch. And talk about a guy who was knocking them cold.

Yea but for 6 rounds Mike was probably the most explosive heavyweight in history, and a few fights show that his power carried into the later rounds.

Guys like Foreman and Tyson faced far superior opposition. Even when washed up, they still would have KOd the skinny Tunney
