I'm not a sky subscriber. I just pay to watch what I want to. I was having a drink at home last Saturday so paid £7 for 24 hours of Sky Sports to watch the Whyte-Brown card.So £20 for the AJ card is ok for me as I don't subscribe on top of PPV money.

I'm willing to pay £20 for the number 1 vs number 3 heavyweight in the world. Joshua is an exciting fighter and regardless of how hyped people think he is, as of yet I haven't felt dissatisfied watching any of his fights. The problem sky have created is that he will always need to be tough match ups for the rest of his career or else people will then stop paying.

Not that I agree with PPV in principle but unless someone can offer a viable alternative I can't see how the sport can sustain top fighters in the UK.

Let's put it into context- I have paid £36 since the start of the year for Boxnation. For my £36 I have watched a card at York Hall full of prospects and Mikey Garcia vs Lipinets.

Joseph Parker v Anthony Joshua is the only fight I feel the urge to watch live.
And I'll go to the pub for that.
And honestly it's only because Parker MIGHT have a chance that makes the fight interesting. If I firmly believed Parker had no chance, I wouldn't even bother. Id find it on youtube or something on Sunday morning instead.

    Agree with this.

I pay for boxnation, ppvs (not all) and go to events numerous times a year.

Boxing is the main sport I follow now (used to be football) and I like to think im supporting it.

Tony Dosh, Joe Parker and Eh Day Hearn are already multi millionaires and they are the ones raking it in by taking the PPV money.

    How does PPV support boxing?

None of this money goes to grass roots boxing and we still have people dying in the ring for £2k purses.

I paid £20 for an android box two years ago, and pay a tenner a month subscription which gives me all the streams I need in HD so no I won't be paying for PPV
