What you fail to realize is the whole purpose of the Super 6 was to showcase Abraham and Kessler who were the co-favorites to the American audience in a hope that they would become draws here. A fight with Abraham and Ward would never take place in Germany in this tournament. No one knew Ward was as good as he was and he upset both Abraham and Kessler basically messing it up.

Usyk's easily he fought Huck, Briedis and Gassiev in there Backyards. Ward hasn't even left the US once and only left California for the finale.

Kessler was shoot, Green is a bum, Abraham was never special @168 so Ward's only impressive win is his close fight with Froch.

Uysk's. CW is more dangerous, beating froch was pretty good though but he was tailor made for ward.

@PimpC I do think fighting in the other guy's backyard makes a win a little more impressive though. Especially doing it at a high level consecutive times. Not that it changes my pick for this answer

And his win against Froch was an ugly one with a good amount of dirty crap. And it’s too funny how all the sudden Abraham is this elite force! Kessler was a good fighter but it was the fashion that he was defeated by Ward. Just not very spectacular or crowd pleasing with similar stuff he pulled with Froch.

Stop it! Ward's wins over Kessler and Froch were both legit you not liking the way he won is irrelevant. He beat both pretty easily. You just want to do your best to try and discredit them. Also if Abraham was some up and coming fighter now you'd be saying that he would knock Ward out or that Ward would duck him just like you did with Kovalev until Ward beat him and now you've turned your back on him. Your agenda couldn't be more transparent. Quit trying to tear a man down just to build up your own favorites and give the man his due. Ward is a ATG and one of the best fighters of the era. He's more proven than Usyk at this point and has a better resume period end of discussion.
