The poll should have an option for robbed once. Holmes won the second fight.

At that point even after scoring he still loses...you do realioze 15 is not a hard number to figure out if someone has already won more than half right? I don't care if anyone agreesit shows who doesn't know what to look at which is the usual suspects here ! :patsch

"Larry Holmes was gonna break that record,” Holyfield said, “but they took it from him. Nobody said nothing because it was a Black (man), because it was (Michael) Spinks who won. Spinks didn’t beat him. But they gave it to him. They made up an excuse that (Holmes) shouldn’t have said (anything) about Rocky Marciano.' E .Holyfield

I figured I would use his quiote since you consider yourself the authority here!

True, but then everyone cops out.And splits to not be wrong or questioned . The probl;em is if holmes won the first fight "he did " he wid the second fight which he CLEARLY did.

    And YOU know that

    3 for Spinks
    1 even
    4 "too hard to score"

equals 8 for Holmes and a fight that is by definition close :lol:

But we all know you made up a scorecard kid; nobody here believes this "four rounds in the middle i just didn't score" stuff

That leaves 3 rounds I didn't score..and im the kid here? Math much...that doesn't shock me you thought Ali was stronger than Foreman in another thread...

I love that he's basically saying even he could accept 8-7 for Holmes which is 1 round away from a Spinks victory.

So either he thinks a 1 round swing is a robbery or he made up a score card

    Try hard to understand:

    3 you didn't score.
    3 to Spinks
    1 even

    8 to Holmes.

On the card you are saying is your real one, you have made this a close fight  There are seven rounds that a more astute, strict scorer might have given to Spinks without objection from you as you can't score them for Holmes yourself

Yeah, you keep posting this, i don't know why. I don't care about black, white, the record, and I don't consider Holyfield's testimony to be any form of proof as to robbery.

And given your extremely close card, I don't see how you can either

 yep, according to uncle, 8-7 is a valid scorecard in this fight that all real boxing fans know was a robbery

The secnd fight wasn't close at all and even as stated AGAIN if I give Spinks the 3 rounds it doesn't change my scoring of how many rounds Holmes still won....in all likely hood he won about 9 rounds in the first fight.

I have made this close if I give Spinks those rounds it would not still change the out come. that doesn't leave 4 extra rounds it leaves 3.Even if changd the even round only then would it be an even fight on mine. What about Bert sugars and co...are they VALID tesitomonies ? I do think the first fight was closer but not overly to what you guys wish to believe.

I'm more interested in YOUR testimony and how it contradicts the OP.

    In the OP you state:

"This fight was so lopsided I find it hard to imagine that any true boxing fan who knows what to look for thinks Spinks remotely won these fights"

Now you are stating that 8-7 Holmes is a very good card in your own eyes

    What happened here bro?

    It wasn't close?

You scored 8 rounds for Holmes (as did I incidentally, both times around) I'm a 15 round fight that is close.

Do you understand that if only one of your Holmes rounds is given the other way it means he loses a close fight?
