I scored both of those fights for Lewis. The first clearer than the second.

Yes but missing by an inch is not a robbery, an inch is quite close like the fight we are discussing. A fight you haven't watched.

I think he won both fights. I just don't think either were robberies.

    Which is my point!

the rematch Holmes clearly won,how is that not seen and most imbeciles on here saying he lost both fights doesn't really make them look good, they need to rethink some comments here...in holmes own words...

Holmes did not agree with the official decision. He told the Home Box Office boxing ****yst Larry Merchant right after the fight: ''If I didn't have him hurt five times, then I hope I lose everything I own. I had this man. He was running and he knows he didn't win the fight.''

You are the SAME guy preaching how anyone who knows boxing would give Holyfieeld the fight over Lewis or think its close aren't you? Was that a competitive fight that Lewis Clearly won whwere holyfield won almost half the rounds? :yep

the difference is Holyfield ACTUALLY hit Lewis alot with good punches...spinks? Show me one???????BRO

Only the small clan on this site believe holmes lost...to bad many IN THE ACTUAL BOXING WORLD CALLED EVEN THE FIRST FIGHT HIGHWAY ROBBERY. :yep

So you think he clearly won 8-7. You think out of your 8 rounds it is totally inconceivable for one of those 8 to go the other way?

I think Holmes won both but it is definitely arguable that Spinks won both.

Nope...clearly a win for Holmes what you fail to realize boxing is not about rounds its controlling tempo and mainting who is winning weather a round or two or not,in a fight LIKE this as spinks did NOTHING to suggest he won unlike holyfields two Lewis fights where he actually pressed and scored CLEANLY,where one can actually make a case...Spinks simply cannot and any boxing brain would see this as you did...congrats im not the only logical person who can see why he won both fights.

I don't think he won 8/7 I know he won, given he had 8 rounds anyway when I discarded the other 3. You can call it 8/7 if you like .

Boxing is entirely about rounds. You could not be more wrong.

You have said you gave 8 rounds for Holmes. Out of the 12 rounds you watched you scored 8. You said every other round was close enough to go to Spinks. These are your words.

Boxing is not about rounds unless it is a toss up fight...their fight was not hard to score at all..A close round fight does not say if its actually a close fight in the ring these are average type fights you see where one guy could win 5 rounds the other 7...does that mean it was close in the ring? not really....the Lewis/Holyfield was already given as an example of that. I never said every round was close enough to give to spinks, I did say they could go to spinks they were close rounds theres a difference,i didn't have to look much into those rounds ....nope and again it wouldn't matter for the tenth time! :patsch
