I don’t think ANYONE stops a prime Ali. Could it go down like Ali Frazier 1 possibly but I’d pick Ali by points in both fighters prime.

I can't see any reasonable argument for Marciano stopping him.

Other than Ali hate and/or idolatry of Marciano, I mean.

He could. Would he, likely not.

Ali was nailed by left hooks, and would have to deal with Maricano's never ending work rate.

In my opinion Marciano would be a tougher fight than Foreman was for Ali.

I didn’t vote, and wouldn’t pick it but I do feel it is a real possibility. I know it is sacrilege on this forum to pick against Ali, but there are 3 guys I feel comfortable picking against him. Joe Louis, Frazier and Marciano. I have always thought Rocky’s pressure would unsettle Ali and not allow Ali to dictate the range and tempo like I feel he would need in this fight. I like Rocky by decision, but I could see him stopping Ali late...just not my most likely outcome, but I do feel like it is a plausible one.

I am always reluctant to pick fighter A to stop fighter B, if I have not seem fighter B stopped, at least at some relevant stage of their career.

If you thought that Marciano would win, it would seem a lot more prudent to predict a win by decision.

That would leave you with a lot less assumptions to justify.

No, hes beating him by UD or he loses.
    I think he barely loses.

    Again, same problem.

It could happen that way, but it would be much more prudent to pick a decision win.

That gives you lees new assumptions to justify.

Not really, two of Marciano's fights Simmons and Charles2 would have been stopped in the 70's with him the tko loser .

OK then, let me know next time you think that a fight is going to be stopped on cuts.

Call it in a fight that is going to happen.
