No he isn't. Which major TV network in the States has picked up this fight?

    None of them.

I want Froch to win for the following irrational reasons - some more valid than others:

    1. I think he has a bit more left in his tank but I think a loss to GG will ruin him mentally
    2. I don't really like GG - I don't know why - I've never met either man but I haven't taken to GG at all for some reason
    3. Sentimentality - Carl has fought top opposition for many years now and I wouldn't like to see him go out like this. If he loses I think he might call it a day which would be a shame as he has been Britain's best champ for a while but he hasn't quite achieved the fame he deserves

My preferred outcome would be a close but clear pts win for Carl that lets both men continue boxing on

It will be closer than the bookies have it and at 4/1 I will have a bit on GG at that price

None of these reasons are profound but they are mine all the same.

Watched ringside last night. I have no idea how anyone could get behind Groves after that "are you gonna cry froch? is he gonna cry Adam" he made himself look so stupid! I always thought that he was trying to be a mini Haye and couldnt pull it off, but was harmless enough, he is now an utter prat!

I suspect after the fight he'll say he acted the way he did to play mind games etc.

Anderson was what? His 11th fight? You could say the same for what happened in the first 11 rounds against Taylor

you can't compare Anderson to a former champion! Froch has never been exposed to the extent he was in that fight

I'm a big fan of both but with the future prospect of fights with Chavez and/or GGG I will certainly be routing for Carl

pretty sure martinez vs JCC jnr is bigger then anythin froch has been involved in
JCC is a huge draw evemn though hes far from the greatest

& dont quote me on it but didnt GGG vs stevens do some really good numbers on HBO??
froch is a really big draw in the UK and is the biggest between 160-175 but i doubt he is worldwide

Exactly and you can't draw conclusions on Groves getting a flash knockdown when he was still so early in his career

Me. Groves has become super cringey. I thought Froch was getting bad with the dancing and all but Groves takes the biscuit.

It wasn't a flash knock down! He came as close to getting stopped as possible.

I was a Froch fan until the lead up to this fight. He can't take his own medicine. throughout his career he has mouthed off at people and when he gets a bit back he cant handle it. He has personally messaged 2 of my mates on twitter and told them to f*** off and blocked them. total arrogance. 1 of them only said, "froch looked rattled on ringside"

    Groves has Froch rattled #teamSSG

I can't stand Froch. Early on in his career all he did was slag of his fellow British fighters to get in the limelight. But since he's become a world champ against an old war torn semi-retired Kessler, he now proclaims himself to be an international superstar and demands respect. Total and utter hypocrite. Hopefully George puts him into retirement.
