I've been working out at boxing gyms, and fighting in 'white collar' matches for about 2 and a half years. It's made me appreciate EVERY fighter who ever stepped into a ring. The people who criticize Mayweather for 'running' couldn't 'run' for ONE round, and the people who call Joe C. a 'slapper' couldn't slap for ONE round. It doesn't mean I know what I'm talking about, it's just made me appreciate the fight game that much more. This is the hardest athletic activity out there.
I trained for serveral years, had a couple of amatuer fights and sparred with journeyman pro's...........this was about 5-7 years ago
not trying to make friends just curious and why take it so personal//you can watch boxing and know alot but i just wanna know who actually boxes
the idea that it is requisite to be a boxer yourself ino order to be a competent boxing fan is absurd.
thats not what im saying my friend just trying to get insite from actual boxers//this is not a disrespect thread
Amateur ,years ago. No i didnt take it personally, but you did say'know what theyre talking about' on your first post. That is saying only boxers have any boxing knowledge. I think thats wrong, thats all:good
how intense is training and the actual fight/after the fight how does it impact your body/and how do boxers gain 10-15 pounds over night?
The 10-15 punds of weight is gained after rehydrating, following a strict dehydration period pre-fight. This takes a serious toll on your heart after many years of it.
